About Min's Desk

Hi, I'm Min, a Korean blogger writing under a pen name.

I grew up reading webtoons and web novels and watching dramas on my computer and phone. I still enjoy them in my spare time, usually through streaming services and platforms such as Naver and Kakao.

I started Min's Desk because I wanted to share the Korean stories I enjoy and give readers clear, accurate information about them. I write in English for readers discovering these stories from outside Korea.

What draws me into a story

I like a story that holds my interest and characters with a personality of their own—the kind that make me want to keep reading or watching. That's where a review usually starts for me: what makes this story enjoyable, and what makes its characters worth following?

Two stories that have stayed with me are Misaeng and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. In Misaeng, it's the everyday worries and emotions of office life that resonate with me. In Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, I especially enjoy the way earlier clues pay off and the story comes together.

What you'll find here

Reviews, reading guides, comparisons, and explanations—with Korean context where it helps. A web novel, its webtoon adaptation, and a drama or anime may tell the same story in different ways. I keep those versions separate when discussing them.

I want to explain why a story works, where it falls short, and who might enjoy it. Popularity isn't a reason to pretend every series is a masterpiece. Sometimes a story is simply fun, and that's worth talking about too.

How this desk is put together

I use AI to help with research, organization, drafting, and English-language editing. The topics, personal impressions, and final editorial decisions come from me. I review the writing before publication and remain responsible for what appears here.

I check important factual details against official sources where available, especially things that change, such as reading platforms and adaptation news. A link or availability note reflects the sources checked when the article was written or updated; it isn't a promise that a service will stay the same.

Reviews are personal evaluations, not official statements from creators or publishers. If I've missed something, you can send a correction through Contact.

The goal isn't to publish as much as possible. It's to make each article worth reading.

A small personal desk

Min's Desk is an independent personal blog, not a publisher or a large editorial team. I keep my private identity separate from the site.
