Seasons of Blossom Reading Order: Four Arcs & the Sequel
Read Seasons of Blossom in its published order: Bomi’s spring, Hamin’s summer, Gaeul’s autumn, and Dongchae’s winter, followed by the epilogue. Then move to Seasons of Lovesome.
The four seasonal stories belong to the original webtoon. Seasons of Lovesome is its separate continuation, not a fifth arc hidden under the original title.
I’d follow that published sequence on a first read; there’s no need to rearrange the flashbacks or fit an adaptation between arcs.
Spoiler note: This guide identifies the arcs and their broad themes without revealing romantic outcomes or ending events.
Content note: The series includes bullying, suicide-related themes, and grief, discussed in the creators’ Korean interview and the publisher’s descriptions linked below.

The four arcs, in order
Think of the original as one connected work that changes its focus, rather than four unrelated romances you need to find separately.
| Order and season | Arc | Broad focus |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Spring | Bomi’s story 보미의 꽃 | School romance, friendship, and feelings complicated by lies and misunderstandings. |
| 2. Summer | Hamin’s story 하민의 꽃 | A shift toward memory, grief, and relationships shaped by loss. |
| 3. Autumn | Gaeul’s story 가을의 꽃 | University-age protagonists whose present is entangled with past hurt. |
| 4. Winter | Dongchae’s story 동채의 꽃 | A brother and sister, isolation, and the difficulty of reaching someone who is struggling. |
The arc labels and broad outlines follow Jaedam’s Korean volume descriptions for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, listed by YES24.
For the actual English reading route, begin with “Ep. 1 - Bomi’s Flower (1)” in the official WEBTOON edition. Continue through that series instead of searching for a new title whenever the central character changes.
Finish the original’s closing material, including the epilogue, before opening the sequel. The Korean sequel synopsis specifically uses that epilogue as its timeline reference.
Why the seasonal order matters
In a Korean creator interview archived by Manhwa Kyujanggak, HONGDUCK explains that separately conceived stories were brought together. Their different emotional tones suggested the seasons, and the names were chosen to echo that structure. Characters cross between arcs because people sharing a place can be living through very different experiences.
Two names make the Korean pattern easy to notice: Bomi recalls 봄 (bom, spring), while 가을 (gaeul) is the Korean word for autumn. That does not make every character name a literal translation of its season.
The connections also affect the reading experience. The publisher’s winter-arc introduction explicitly brings the spring protagonists into Dongchae and Eunchae’s story. A new central character does not mean the earlier relationships have become irrelevant.
That is a practical reason to follow the published sequence on a first read. You accumulate context instead of meeting returning characters only when someone else’s story needs them.
You do not need to memorize a cast chart before moving on. Let each arc introduce its focus, while keeping the earlier relationships in mind.
Does Bomi’s ending finish the original?
No. Spring is one arc of the original, so moving straight from Bomi’s story to Seasons of Lovesome skips summer, autumn, and winter.
You can choose to pause after the opening romance, especially if the heavier themes aren’t what you want right now. Just keep that stopping point separate from finishing the complete webtoon.
When should you read Seasons of Lovesome?
After the complete original, including its epilogue.
The Korean title is 청춘 러브썸. Its official Korean introduction is more precise than simply calling it a sequel: the story begins one year after the epilogue of Seasons of Blossom.
The official English introduction introduces Bomi’s university classmate Pureum and a café-and-art-studio setting. This is a continuation into another stage of life, not a renamed edition of the original.
Once you’ve finished Blossom, start the sequel at its first episode. You’ll have the context for returning characters, and you don’t need to watch either adaptation in between.
Sequel publication status checked: October 30, 2026.
The Korean Naver WEBTOON listing has resumed with Season 3: its Episode 81 is dated October 26, after the Season 2 finale. It also lists later installments as paid previews, labeled 유료만화. The total shown on a series page is not a count of episodes you can read for free.
The English sequel is currently on hiatus. WEBTOON’s official mobile status page explicitly labels it On hiatus, while the English episode list ends with the Season 2 finale and carries a notice that the series will return. The Korean Season 3 opening does not establish an English return date. If you read in English, start with the available English episodes after finishing the original, and follow that edition’s own return notices.
Coming from the drama or animation?
For readers arriving from the 2022 live-action drama, I’d begin again with Bomi’s opening. Jaedam’s volume-six description confirms that the drama combines the first two seasonal stories, but its endpoint isn’t a chapter bookmark for the comic.
The webtoon vs. K-drama comparison explains that adaptation choice in more detail.
Still deciding whether to watch the live-action version? My 2022 K-drama review discusses the two timelines, Hamin’s guarded kindness, and the mixture of sweetness and sadness that stayed with me. It covers the drama separately from the spring animation.
The Korean animation, 청춘 블라썸: 우리의 봄, is another screen version. CBS NoCutNews’s report on its KBS launch describes a focus on Bomi’s school romance. It does not change the webtoon reading order or replace Seasons of Lovesome as the continuation.
If the animation brought you here, I’d still start the webtoon at Bomi’s opening and follow the four arcs above. Its spring focus is not a shortcut past the original’s summer, autumn, winter, and epilogue.
My Seasons of Blossom anime review shares what stayed with me about Bomi’s feelings, the quiet direction, and the short episodes. It covers the Bomi-centered spring animation, separately from the 2022 live-action drama and the complete four-arc webtoon.
Enjoying a screen adaptation first is a perfectly reasonable way to discover the story. It simply does not make the different versions interchangeable.
Where to read both webtoons officially
The official English editions are on WEBTOON: Seasons of Blossom for the original, and Seasons of Lovesome for the sequel.
The original is complete, as also confirmed by its Korean Naver listing.
Do not judge its total length from the episodes visible in a browser. The English original’s page directs readers to the app for more episodes. Check the access options shown in WEBTOON’s app rather than assuming every chapter is freely readable on the desktop page.
The original’s completed status does not mean the sequel is finished. Follow the sequel’s Korean or English listing for that edition’s release notices and current access options.
For the creators and title, return to the Seasons of Blossom introduction. If you’re deciding whether the emotional tone suits you, my webtoon review covers that side of the choice.
